East Hill Woods is situated in the village of Denby Dale, West Yorkshire.
It can be found part way down the steep footpath that leads from the bus terminus into the village. It can also be accessed by a footpath across the old tennis court area, this leads to steep steps down to the wood.
The conservation group was set up “To preserve and enhance East Hill Woods as a community resource and promote it’s use by local people.”
We welcome all volunteers to come along and help with tasks. Its a great way to spend some time outdoors and meet new people from the local community.
